Dragon Forest Trail Now - September 7
This summer, embark on a journey where fantasy meets reality. Wander through a winding, 3-acre trail filled with fantastical sculptures, including animatronics, of dragons and mythical creatures. See a phoenix rise from the ashes, listen for the hiss of a basilisk slithering through the trees and climb atop interactive sculptures of mythical legends. And keep your eyes peeled for dragons lurking around every corner!
I’m headed to this event shortly, i love mythos, and creatures and the likes. I can’t wait to see it in person!
Michigan Ren Faire | August 16 - September 25
Open during the weekends in Holly Michigan, I LOVE the ren faire! Opening weekend and closing weekend are always the busiest, so I’d suggest going in between. Get there early for parking! Bring cash. Its mostly a medieval shopping, drinking, and eating day. Pack water and electrolytes. Sneak in food if you can. Check out some of the shows or the parade, I love the Vikings feat of strength weekends and jousting! Loads of entertainment happening all day every weekend, but if you are a drinker, I’d suggest paying for the pub crawl! You get the annual mug as a souvenir, entertainment from the hosts, and a drink at EACH pub (4 or 5) over the span of 2 hours, and it’s WAY cheaper than you think or purchasing them separately. ALSO. If you don’t have an outfit, you can build yours out there! But be warned, ren fair garb is SOOO Expensive.
