Indiana August 2026 Flood Resources

08/18/2026 - The state of Indiana is preparing for even more storms after a historical flooding swept NW Indiana. I am but a lowly, mid-tier influencer in Michigan, but on occasion we can hit that algo just right to make a difference. And the people of Indiana have been systematically failed by their government and reached out with recourses and organizations that can help in these difficult times. Below is a list of resources, pages to follow, how to donate, how to seek shelter, food, supplies, and so much more. There are stories of people robbing others with generators. Complete black outs. Many individuals without water or energy and another storm that will most likely break a major sewer line in Carmel. As the previous flooding has collapses the Hazel Dell Parkway.

I’m not here to spout about politics or climate crisis. If you found me you already know I know that politics did this along with greedy human beings not giving a shit about mother earth. All we can do in these difficult times is help one another. Indiana is Michigan’s neighbor. If our government and representatives won’t stand up for you all, I will try my damnest to help. Many people have lost everything. Help share these resources. I would hope if Michigan faced something similar our midwestern neighbors would stand up for us as well.
