Local Protests Near Me In Michigan 〰️

09/27/25 - The state of Michigan has early 50 protests scheduled throughout the mitten state for Saturday, October 18th which is being called No Kings 2.0. (Finally learning to keep the most successful message they had, thank goodness.) The multi city, town, village, and township day of action will draw crowds in small red dot cities, and large cities like Detroit, Grand Rapids, and Lansing. In partnership with larger organizations like 50501 National, Michigan will join the rest of the United States by bringing us the sequel to the biggest protest nationally that ever happened on American soil.

As stated on the national 50501 MI linked website: “ No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings. On October 18, millions of us are rising again to show the world: America has no kings, and the power belongs to the people.”

In no way does Now Marketing, Now News, or Jacki Krumnow, endorse any of these organizations or events. Krumnow, is merely providing public knowledge in one place for easy access to individuals who may want to learn more and become better informed. As a concerned citizen reading this, please make your own informed decisions. This article was written with multiple individuals asking for such a resource for the state of MICHIGAN.

We can do this together, all content published in this article was found online, PUBLICALLY, and provided by concerned citizens reaching out, asking for coverage, who am I to deny them.
YOU ARE YOUR OWN INDIVIDUAL with cognitive thought. MAKE YOUR OWN DESICIONS.

Want to read about the first one and see the photos & videos? Check out my previous article!

New Listicle Format

If there is a protest out there that people are trying to promote, and there is NO backlink for more people to learn about, they will be dropped in the photo gallery at the end.
I try and pride myself on providing link backed articles so individuals can remain informed and make their own decision on attending local Michigan protests, marches, clean ups, and activation dates.
An additional resource I use to LOOK for local protests, etc happening, are mobilize.us, & 50501. You do NOT need to provide your details to sign up, please note, you can just show up.

There could be more out there…

Concerned citizens are stepping up and organizing things every day. If you’ve heard of another event happening, DM them to Krumnow on social media platform. If you don’t get a response within 12-24 hours, please comment on content. We are continuing to go viral every day right now. This included platforms “hiding” messages or hate DM’s and comments in places that can create problems on social media.

This is a new space to receive and distribute news. As we grow and get our bearings, we will continue to find other ways to distribute information. Weather that is a youtube channel, substack, email newsletter etc. It will take some time to get these things going out there and ready, especially backing up organizations, events, stories, etc with links for further knowledge. IG Stories will have the most up-to-date, trending news, along with TIKTOK for less polished content. IG and Facebook will grow as we find a groove.

Bear with us as we figure out all this ish with you.

Be safe, god speed, and as always, carry soup on hand. For your family.

ABOUT NOW NEWS & JACKI KRUMNOW: As of March 04, 2025, local Lansing influencer and concerned citizen, Jacki Krumnow, stepped up to begin covering local news that was not getting deserved media coverage. Krumnow is utilizing her voice & platforms while she still can to distribute local and nationally relevant news that is collected via guerrilla journalism tactics, and distributing the content known as NOW NEWS.

She will try to remain timely and write articles when she can, but you can trust her STORIES and IG Profile to keep you up to date on everything NOW NEWS from protests and political satire, to the occasional marketing trends and updates, and local happenings in Lansing, and yes, more than just humanitarian events. Krumnow spearheads herself now as guerrilla journalist, gathering details, research, and knowledge of news by they people and for the people. She endorses nothing. She encourages readers to be well informed and continue their own research on topics, events, organizations that they find of interest.

You are welcome to follow her for more local & national Now News, but she retains the rights to not accept follow for follow or friend requests, and block individuals who may threaten her safety online or in person. Reporting the news can be a dangerous game.

Be forewarned though, Krumnow can be a bit of a mischief maker online and in person. She is not everyone’s cup of tea.
